In This album i try to make my music more rock. So, i’m back to using distorted guitar & powerfull bass. I wish you could feel that on first track, wings of darkness, the main track on this album. I try to make it as a electric gothic rock.Drum & bass is still be a main power of this album. Synth, piano, delay guitar and distorted guitar is additional taste but really important.
Not like for her smile album, in this album i try to make a mayor chord song. There is a clear blue sky and midnight voice. And you could found some oriental tase on clear blue sky and 80′ analog techno taste in midnight voice.
Also there is a 3 remix song from brain killer girl album. Its going more fusion and clean. Also last song deep falling is a remake version of falling.
On this album music is going more minor and dark. Its like a sad ballad. Theme of this album is Love and Faith.
No arpreggio synth & distortion guitar on this album but I try to using a natural rotary organ voice from my synthesizer. And you still found lot of reverb piano, distorted bass, and guitar with delay effect.
1st song, “for hers smile” is middle tempo minor ballad. Theme of this song is, simple, a story about girl with beautiful smile. I try to give a natural slow folk rock on this song. I play splitting organ + piano. & using a electric guitar to make a bass & delay guitar voice. Thanks to Guitar Rig Software for effect. In this song using a I try to using a natural drum sound on this song(but still using squencer, not a real drum)
2nd song, “faintly memory”. Story about regrets on my past life that make me want to suicide but i never do that stupid thing. Its using a deep bass electric drum voice & distorted bass as main power. But still opened by piano melody. & you an find pipe organ at the end of song. Its make this song more dark.
Last song “frustrated hope” is talk about my stupid hope for someone really special. Hope that never be truth. I using a jazz drum set samples on this song. Thats make this song so dark & gentle i think. Piano is first melody. I add a little distortion to delay effect on guitar. Because i affraid you will bored to hear a same guitar voice ^_^. Organ voice is cool i think…
After this album i planning to make a complete album with 14 track, including all song from my 3 mini album and some remix tract.
This album going more like a industrial rock with breakbeat drums beat and little electro accoustic. tempo more faster and heavier than latest album except for “falling” is a middle tempo song.
Main song “Brain Killer Girl” & “She is Beautiful Nightmare” was inspire by fiction story about one girl who very misterious. She make me going abnormal and fall into a darkness. She totally change my life from stupid book worm to a maniac. Sometime i feel like she is not real and maybe she is a devil or vampire(joke). And i don’t know where is she now. Maybe she had back to the hell.
This album still a piano oriented(all song arranged basically on keyboard) and guitar riff is very very simple, ajusting for my guitar skill(yes i’m a keyboardist not a guitarist). But maybe on next album, i want to upgrade my guitar skill and use a more expert guitar riff, especially for a accoustic modulated guitar voice, i like it so much.
Vermillia originally is gothic rock band. but because unconsistence band member, keyboardist and song writer on this band, er ror take it as a his solo project. all song created digitally via computer without any vocal and instrument except keyboard and electric guitar. Other instrument was replaced by his keyboard and computer software. The gendre was moved to be industrial rock with little gothic influence.
For solo project, themes of most vermillia song is a about loneliness, frustration, girl and stroker’s feeling. But when still a band music themes is a heavy social issues like a religion, death, hell, abortion, sin etc.
Vermillia band version is planned to upload after have been re-arranged.
its a 4th album of vermillia but 1st album after moved to industrial rock gendre. the music is more like a techno with distortion guitar. theme of the album is lonelyness and frustration.
